Abstract
The author of this New York Times Bestseller book, “Democracy: Stories from the Long Road to Freedom”, Condoleezza Rice, known as “Condi” to her friends, had the privilege of altering the American political history being the first female African-American Secretary of State and the second female US Secretary of State. Rice also came to be the National Security Advisor during Bush first term, largely considered to be his closest aide-de-camp making her the first woman to serve in that position.
